This is how I know it is fall at our house:
The white and yellow decorations have fled the mantel to be replaced with fall flowers and a kind black bird.

Candy corns and Halloween M&Ms have been artfully arranged and--by now--mostly disappeared.

Hops are drying in the kitchen windowsill. Don't think I'll get much beer out of them.

Gourds line the living room windowsill.

The kids have carved their pumpkins and toasted the seeds.


And too much schoolwork to keep up like a good blogger. :(
